| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Moldavite is a translucent green meteoric gem, found only in what is now the Czech Republic. It is classed with the mysterious group of glassy objects called tektites, and it is believed to have fallen from the sky only once, about 14.8 million years ago. Prized by humans for tools and amulets some 25,000 years ago. Moldavites are among the most powerful gemstone tools for spiritual development and expansion of consciousness. They seem to engender an acceleration of one's inner growth and evolution. Hundreds of times people have described to us the rapid transformation of their lives which has come soon after they acquired Moldavite. Jobs, relationships, life styles or possessions which did not serve their highest paths were rapidly released, and the new, evolutionary forms of these same things appeared, drawn as if by magnetism. Each Piece is Unique, yours will vary from the image shown..

| Customer Reviews:
Nice stone, but cut October 29, 2008 A Reader Overall I was very pleased with this purchase, the wire work is good, it does appear to be genuine (there are a lot of fake moldavites about), and Toltec shipped it lightning fast. One thing that should be mentioned, though, that you cannot tell from the photos or description is that the one I received at least is not a whole piece of moldavite - it has been cut down on one side. This may not bother you, but don't expect a whole rough moldavite.
Excellent purchase with fast delivery!!!! : ) July 9, 2008 F. Menkin 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
"This lighter colored moldavite indicates that it is from the Besednice region of the Czech Republic. Lighter colored moldavite is harder on the MOHS scale and more commonly chosen for jewelry (it is always more expensive than the dark green pieces). The item arrived quickly, was carefully packaged, and was as described. I am very pleased with this purchase and the Toltec Trading Company. "
